Fall in Rockport

As the summer days of August wane, thoughts of autumn come to mind with brisk fall mornings; Indian summer sun to bask on the beach and the benefit of steamy summer days that have warmed the ocean waters. Children are back at school; the shoppes offer after season sales; the crowds have thinned; craft fairs and harvest time is upon us - Rockport is even more lovely during the fall months offering all of its attractions in a more relaxed atmosphere. 

 

We invite you to enjoy our cottages, if not for a week, perhaps a four or five night stay. Cottage on the Lane remains open year round so you can enjoy all of the seasons and what special events Rockport has become famous for. Did you know the Santra Bullock movie "The Proposal" was shot in Rockport, MA? They did their best to make it look like Alaska - with digital mountains in the background.

But that town is a real place - a cute artistic fishing village - located on the North Shore of Mass. You can stay right in town - close to where they shot the film. We have three cottages for rent overlooking the water. Check out the trailer and see the town you could spend your vacation in.
